The Micronet Information Network (a.k.a. Micronet) is a FTN-based BBS mail network that was founded on September 1, 2000 by Sean Dennis. Micronet also features QWK and NNTP feeds for BBS systems. We also run our own IBBS league, League 618.

We have an international reach in our network. We have nodes in the US, Canada, Denmark, Ireland, Argentina, Czech Republic, Australia, and Lebanon. Of course, there's always more room to grow.

You do not have to be running a BBS to be a member of Micronet. If you can run as a point, you can be a full member of Micronet. Please contact Sean Dennis for more information about this option.

The network administrators are Sean Dennis (founder/zone coordinator) and Andrew Leary (assistant zone coordinator/IBBS League 618 coordinator). There are currently seven nets in Micronet.

We are always looking for new nodes for the network! You can download our infopack here to join Micronet.

Fun fact: The network's zone number is the telephone area code for Southern Illinois which where the network was founded.
